At Internet-desks.co.uk we design and manufacture bespoke internet-desks. Shown here is are bespoke internet-desks and totem for Heathrow terminal 5. The desk incorporates six separate internet access points, complete with service doors and internal cooling fans. The marble desk top gives the desks an attractive contemporary finish. The illuminated totem column that protrudes through the desk was also manufactured by us.
Another bespoke internet-desk consisting of a cabinet with service chamber, secure cash compartment, coin mechanism, coiling fans and comes complete with a bespoke seat that interlocks with the main cabinet. The materials selected for the pedestal required to be fire resistant and rated to class ‘0’; hence the unit was fabricated using a combination of steel panels, Staron (for the side infills and desk and seat top) and Dalsouple floor matting and finished with fire retardant paint. The individual units can be interlocked to make a line of pedestals with services passing through the hole that can be seen in the top right hand side of the desk top.
